• Mr Rick

  Hello and welcome! My name is Rick and I am the proud owner of The Goddard School of Uniontown, Ohio. At our school we provide high-quality childcare and early education for infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten students, helping children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. With a passion for nurturing young minds, I have dedicated my career to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can explore, grow, and thrive. At The Goddard School, we believe in the power of play-based learning to inspire creativity, curiosity, and confidence. Each child is encouraged to discover new interests, develop independence, and build social skills that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.

• Ms Laura

  Miss Laura is our Education Director. She graduated cum laude from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Miss Laura has over 35 years of experience with both teaching young children and administration. She was the assistant director as well as taught Pre-Kindergarten for over four years here at our school. She has been the Education Director since 2012. Ms. Laura has been with our school since it opened in 2008.

• Ms Dawn

  Ms. Dawn is our Assistant Director. She has a Child Development Associate Credential with a focus on infants and toddlers. She taught in our younger preschool classroom for ten years. She has over 35 years of experience working with children. Ms. Dawn has been with us since 2014.

• Ms Abbey

  Ms. Abbey is a lead teacher in our Pre-K Chows Pre-K classroom. She earned a CDA certification for preschool age children. She has been working with young children for six years now. Ms. Abbey joined us in 2025.

• Ms Dawn

  Ms. Dawn is a lead teacher in the Playful Pups young infant classroom. She holds an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University. She has over 20 years of experience in working with children of all ages. Ms. Dawn joined us in 2024.

• Ms Jada

  Ms. Jada is a lead teacher in our Playful Pups infant classroom. She has over five years of experience working with young children and is pursuing a CDA credential with a focus on infants and toddlers. Ms. Jada has been with our school since 2021.

• Ms Jessica

  Ms. Jessica is a lead teacher in the Happy Huskies Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has a CDA credential for Infant-Toddler children. Ms. Jessica is working towards a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at MVNU. She has been working with young children for over 8 years. Ms. Jessica joined our school in 2022.

• Ms Jessica

  Ms. Jessica is a former lead teacher in our Cheerful Chows Pre-Kindergarten classroom. Ms. Jessica is employed in a public school system as a third grade teacher. She still comes back to help us as our substitute teacher. Ms. Jessica has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education for grades Pre-K through third from the University of Akron. Ms. She has been working with young children for over 15+ years.

• Ms Kathy

  Ms. Kathy is a lead teacher in the Darling Dalmatians preschool classroom. She has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Stark State College. Ms. Kathy has been working with young children for over ten years. Ms. Kathy has been with our school since 2021.

• Ms Kristin

  Ms. Kristin is a lead teacher in our Curious Collies toddler classroom. Kristin has over fifteen years of experience working with infants and young children. She has worked with Goddard for many years and brings much experience to the classroom! Ms. Kristin rejoined our school in 2022.

• Ms Lisa

  Ms. Lisa is a lead teacher in the Curious Collies toddler classroom. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies from Plattsburgh State University of New York. She has over 10 years of experience working with young children. Ms. Lisa has been with us since 2017.

• Ms Lydia

  Ms. Lydia is a lead teacher in the Bouncing Beagles preschool classroom. She has been working with children for six years. Her favorite part of working with children in this age group is seeing them gain their independence and ability to problem solve. Ms. Lydia joined our school in 2025.

• Ms Madison

  Ms. Madison is a lead teacher in our Bouncing Beagles Preschool classroom. She has been working with young children for three years. She joined our school in 2026.

• Ms Paige

  Ms. Paige is our building substitute teacher. She also helps in the office in the afternoon. She is working towards a CDA credential with a focus on the preschool age group. She has over eight years of experience working with young children. Ms. Paige has been with our school since 2018.

• Ms Samantha

  Ms. Sammie is a lead teacher in our Spunky Spaniels (Get Set) older toddler classroom. She earned an Associate's degree from Stark State College in Early Childhood Education with a special certification working with infants and toddlers. She has been working with young children for over 10 years. She has been with our school since 2018.

• Ms Tatiana

  Ms. Tatiana is a lead teacher in our Playful Pups young infant classroom. Ms. Tatiana holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Youth Ministry from Malone University. She has over five years of experience working with infants and is currently pursuing a CDA certification specializing in infants and toddlers. Ms. Tatiana joined our school in 2024.

• Ms Whitney

  Ms. Whitney is a lead teacher in the Rambling Retrievers older infant classroom. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University. She has over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. She joined our school in 2025.

• Ms Alesha

  Ms. Alesha is a lead teacher in the Spunky Spaniels (Get Set) older toddler classroom. She graduated from Stark State College with an Associate's degree in Education. Ms. Alesha has been working with young children for three years. Ms. Alesha joined our school in 2023.

• Ms Ava

  Ms. Ava is a full-time assistant teacher in the Rambling Retrievers older infant classroom. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Purdue Global University. Ms. Ava is also a 2011 Pre-K graduate of our Goddard School. She joined our school in 2025.

• Ms Gemma

  Miss. Gemma is an assistant teacher in our Playful Pups infant classroom. She was an au pair when she came to the United States from England at age 18 and has been working with infants and young children for over 30 years. She joined our school in 2024.

• Ms Jennifer

  Ms. Jennifer is a lead teacher in our Cheerful Chows Pre-K classroom. She has a Bachelor's degree in both Psychology and Biology. Ms. Jennifer holds a certification in Montessori education. She has been working with children for over 30 years.

• Ms Kaylie

  Ms. Kaylie is an afternoon assistant teacher in our Rambling Retrievers older infant classroom. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Youngstown State University. She joined our school in 2025.

• Ms Leah

  Miss Leah is an afternoon assistant teacher in our Cheerful Chows Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has been working with children for over 6 years and truly enjoys working with children in this age group. She loves cultivating their curiosity, educational, social, and interpersonal skills. She is very excited to teach your children and help them to become the next generation of learners.

• Ms Mary

  Ms. Mary is an afternoon assistant teacher in the Bouncing Beagles preschool classroom. She holds a CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential with a focus on preschool age children. She earned her Associate of Science degree in Education. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Mary joined us in 2023.

• Ms Megan

  Ms. Megan is an afternoon teacher in our Curious Collies toddler classroom. She works for Green Local Schools during the day and works with us in the afternoons. Ms. Megan has been with our school since 2020.

• Ms Mikailyn

  Ms. Mikailyn is a full time assistant teacher in our Happy Huskies Pre-K classroom. She is currently working on her CDA credential. Ms. Mikailyn has been working with young children for over two years. She joined us in 2024.

• Ms Shianne

  Miss Shianne is an afternoon teacher in the Happy Huskies classroom. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She really loves working with children of all ages.

• Ms Tiffany

  Ms. Tiffany is an afternoon assistant teacher in our Get Set - Bridge classroom. She currently works for the Manchester School District during the day as a paraprofessional and has many years of experience working with children. She holds an Associate's degree in massage therapy and applied sciences. Ms. Tiffany joined our school in 2024.

• Ms Melissa

  Miss Melissa is a graduate of the University of Akron and is an integral part of our staff. She is responsible for preparing all our foods each day and knows all the food allergies of all the children. She also subs in all of our classrooms as needed and is very helpful with decorating our preschool throughout the year. Miss Melissa has worked with children for eighteen years and has been with us since 2014.
