• Mr Rick

  Mr. Rick, as the children call him, is the on-site owner of The Goddard School located in Green, OH. Rick saw a growing need in the area for a quality preschool and loved the idea of being able to provide the children and parents in this community with a loving and nurturing environment to grow and learn. Rick holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Bowling Green State University and a Master's Degree in Accounting from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. Rick has been married to his wife Kelly, who is an IT Professional, for 34 years and together they have 2 wonderful children, Allyson and Jaret. Also, we can't forget Oakley, Mr. Rick's Golden Retriever, who loves to come to school and play with the children. As the on-site owner Rick would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to visit us for a tour, introduce you to his eager faculty, including their outstanding Educational Directors, and tell you all about the Goddard approach to learning.

• Ms Laura

  Miss Laura is our Education Director. She graduated cum laude from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Miss Laura has over 30 years of experience with both teaching young children and administration. She was the assistant director as well as taught Pre-Kindergarten for over four years here at our school. She has been the Education Director since 2012. Ms. Laura has been with our school since it opened in 2008.

• Ms Stephanie

  Ms. Stephanie is our Director of Operations. She is a graduate of Stark State College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working with young children for twenty years. Ms. Stephanie has been with our school since 2016.

• Ms Ashley

  Ms. Ashley is a lead teacher in the Cheerful Chows Pre-K classroom. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kent State University and is working on her Master's degree at the University of Akron. Ms. Ashley has been working with children for over eight years. She has been with our school since 2021.

• Ms Cheyenne

  Ms. Cheyenne is a teacher in the Rambling Retrievers (First Steps) older infant classroom. She has been working with young children for five years. Several of those years have been spent working with children with special needs.

• Mr Daniel

  Mr. Daniel is an lead teacher in the Pre-K Cheerful Chows classroom. He has four years of experience working with young children. Mr. Daniel has been with us since 2018.

• Ms Dawn

  Ms. Dawn is a lead teacher in the Playful Pups young infant classroom. She holds an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University. She has over 20 years of experience in working with children of all ages. Ms. Dawn joined us in 2024.

• Ms Dawn

  Ms. Dawn is a lead teacher in our Bouncing Beagles preschool classroom. She has a Child Development Associate Credential with a focus on infants and toddlers. She has 30 years of experience working with children. Ms. Dawn has been with us since 2014.

• Ms Jada

  Ms. Jada is a lead teacher in our Playful Pups infant classroom. She has over five years of experience working with young children and is pursuing a CDA credential with a focus on infants and toddlers. Ms. Jada has been with our school since 2021.

• Ms Jessica

  Ms. Jessica is a lead teacher in the Happy Huskies Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has a CDA credential for Infant-Toddler children. Ms. Jessica is working towards a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at MVNU. She has been working with young children for over 7 years.

• Ms Jessica

  Ms. Jessica is a former lead teacher in our Cheerful Chows Pre-Kindergarten classroom. Ms. Jessica is now employed with the North Canton School District. She still comes back to help us as our substitute teacher. Ms. Jessica has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education for grades Pre-K through third from the University of Akron. Ms. She has been working with young children for over 15+ years.

• Ms Kassi

  Ms. Kassi is an assistant teacher in our Cheerful Chows Pre-K classroom. Ms. Kassi is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She has experience working with children of all ages.

• Ms Kathy

  Ms. Kathy is a lead teacher in the Darling Dalmatians preschool classroom. She has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Stark State College. Ms. Kathy has been working with young children for over ten years. Ms. Kathy has been with our school since 2021.

• Ms Kristin

  Ms. Kristin is a lead teacher in our Curious Collies toddler classroom. Kristin has almost ten years of experience working with infants and young children. She has worked with Goddard for many years and brings much experience to the classroom!

• Ms Lisa

  Ms. Lisa is a lead teacher in the Curious Collies toddler classroom. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies from Plattsburgh State University of New York. She has 10 years of experience working with young children. Ms. Lisa has been with us since 2017.

• Ms Olivia

  Ms. Olivia is a lead teacher in our Happy Huskies Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Mount Union in Primary Education (Pre-K through Fifth Grade). She has six years of experience working with young children. Ms. Olivia joined our school in 2023.

• Ms Paige

  Miss Paige is a lead teacher in the Bouncing Beagles preschool classroom. She holds a CDA credential with a focus on the preschool age group. She has over five years of experience working with young children. Ms. Paige has been with our school since 2018.

• Ms Reese

  Miss Reese is a lead teacher in the Preschool Dalmatians classroom. She earned a CDA certificate for the preschool age group. She has been working with young children for over two years now. Ms. Reese has been with us since 2020.

• Ms Sammie

  Ms. Sammie is a lead teacher in our Spunky Spaniels (Get Set) older toddler classroom. She earned an Associate's degree from Stark State College in Early Childhood Education with a special certification working with infants and toddlers. She has been working with young children for 10 years. She has been with our school since 2018.

• Ms Sydney

  Ms. Sydney is a lead teacher in the Rambling Retrievers (First Steps) older infant classroom. She graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Social Studies 7-12 with a comprehensive background in education spanning from Early Childhood to Adolescence. Ms. Sydney has been working with children for over six years. She joined us in 2024.

• Ms Tara

  Ms. Tara is a lead teacher in our Spunky Spaniels (Get Set) older toddler classroom. She is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working with young children for over eight years.

• Ms Taylor

  Ms. Taylor is a lead teacher in the Rambling Retrievers (First Steps) older infant classroom. She is currently pursuing a CDA certification with a focus on infants and toddlers. She has over three years of experience working with young children. Ms. Taylor joined our school in 2023.

• Ms Alesha

  Ms. Alesha is an afternoon assistant teacher in the Bouncing Beagles preschool classroom. She graduated from Stark State College with an Associate's degree in Education. Ms. Alesha joined our school in 2023.

• Ms Avree

  Ms. Avree is an afternoon assistant teacher in our Spunky Spaniels toddler classroom. She is currently attending Stark State College majoring in Criminal Justice. Ms. Avree joined us in 2023.

• Ms Danielle

  Ms. Danielle is an afternoon assistant teacher in the Darling Dalmatians preschool classroom. She is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Danielle has experience working with children of all ages.

• Ms Gemma

  Ms. Gemma is an assistant teacher in our Playful Pups infant classroom. She was an au pair when she came to the United States from England at age 18 and has been working with infants and young children for over 30 years. She joined our school in 2024.

• Ms Mary

  Ms. Mary is a substitute teacher/floater in our school. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) certification with a focus on preschool age children. She is now pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Mary joined us in 2023.

• Ms Megan

  Ms. Megan is an afternoon teacher in our Curious Collies toddler classroom. She works for Green Local Schools during the day and works with us in the afternoons. Ms. Megan has been with our school since 2020.

• Ms Mikailyn

  Ms. Mikailyn is an afternoon assistant teacher in our Happy Huskies Pre-K classroom. She is also a sub throughout our school. She joined us in 2024.

• Ms Sabrina

  Ms. Sabrina is an assistant teacher as well as a substitute teacher throughout the school. She graduated from Stark State College with an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has twenty years of experience working with young children. Ms. Sabrina has been with our school since 2020.

• Ms Melissa

  Miss Melissa is a graduate of the University of Akron and is an integral part of our staff. She is responsible for preparing all our foods each day and knows all the food allergies of all the children. She also subs in all of our classrooms as needed and is very helpful with decorating our preschool throughout the year. Miss Melissa has worked with children for eighteen years and has been with us since 2014.
